The Castle at Ngorongoro provides a perfect place to rest and recuperate for the safari visitor. Nearby safari parks include The Ngorongoro Crater, The Serengeti and Lake Manyara. The wildlife and scenery in Tanzania is quite possibly the best in the world. The parks abound with animals, both large and small and the natural scenery of such wonders as Ngorongoro, Serengeti or Kilimanjaro are unrivalled elsewhere.
The people too are a special attraction in Tanzania. The country is populated by many tribes and some of these tribes such as the Masai or the Hadzabe still live by traditional rules and customs. These cheerful, welcoming people are an integral part of a safari experience and give a glimpse of African life and customs which date back many generations.

Time to Visit
Tanzania can be visited at any time of year. However typically visitors prefer not to come during the months of April and early May due to the fact that this is the rainy season. During those months the rain can be quite heavy and tracks may become difficult to pass. By and large tracks are good and the weather is sunny and pleasant for the other months of the year.
