Situated downstairs along the winding courtyard corridor this spacious room is warm and inviting. A beige stone tiled floor lends the room a peaceful feel while the purple jacaranda flowers which often land on the windowsill give the room its special name. The room has private access to your own exterior patio where guests may like to take their breakfast or dinner surrounded by the sweetly scented lavender which greets them as soon as they step outside. The easy access to this room also make it an ideal choice for anybody of limited mobility. The room is located in the eastern wing of the castle and the views roll down through the castle lawn to Ngorongoro and Kilimanjaro beyond. The bathroom is tiled in sandstone and includes twin ceramic sinks and a glass block shower. The room is equipped with generous twin beds. A tiny genet cat often snuggles into the corner of the patio door so don’t be surprised if you see him before you go to bed at night.
